TECHNIQUE
We make all of our jewelry using the lost wax casting method, a technique that has been in use for thousands of years.

An original carving is made in metal or hard wax. A rubber mold is made of the carving and molten wax is injected into the mold to make a perfect wax replica. The replica is then encased in a plaster-like material. The plaster casing is heated over a long period at high temperatures until the wax inside vaporizes. What is left is a hollow mold into which molten silver or gold is shot using centrifugal force. When cooled, the mold is broken open to release the metal piece. A new wax replica must be made for every piece.. Every piece is carefully hand polished.

MATERIALS
All the metal used is sterling silver , that being the large components, the chain, the wire which goes thru the beads and all the jump-rings and catches. All the stones and beads are semi-precious gems and only genuine pearls are used. Since each piece of jewelry is individually hand made, there may be slight variations depending on the availability of the various stones and beads which are used.

PRICE VARIATIONS
Necklaces are all 16 inches in length, but can be made to any desired length.

16 to 18 inches will be charged an extra $1.00

19 to 20 inches will be charged an extra $2.00

21 to 22 inches will be charged an extra $3.00-and so on…

Ring re-sizes will be charged $5.00 extra per re-size
